Jeff is a software developer with over 15 years of professional experience developing solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises and startups. His background was in enterprise Java development for financial services, where he got the chance to write several Java development books for Apress, including Pro Hibernate 3. Jeff moved into mobile application development with the release of the iPhone, and has been busy building iOS and Android applications since then. Jeff has a bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
